We were talking at our 50th reunion that waiting 5 years for another reunion is way too long at our age!!!
And because my wife and I always have an annual summer lake party at our house anyhow, we decided...
...for 2026 our party will be a 70th Birthday party, and I'm inviting ALL of you from the MHS Class of 1974 to join in the fun.
Or just consider it a 1970's themed party if you feel like "it's so weird being the same age as old people" :))
Family is welcome too. What could be better than a summer vacation in colorful Colorado?
We live on a private lake so there will be pontoon boat or jet ski rides, and for the big event I'm even having a live funk/rock/blues band.
We will work out the food and drinks later but it will be a full afternoon and evening hangout.
I can give you recommendations for hotels and RV parks, and tons of places to see in Colorado.
There are a lot of hotel choices in Loveland and Ft. Collins. A few that are newer and look like a good value for that weekend include: Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham, and My Place Hotel, both in Loveland. Also just as close to my house as these is AmericInn by Wyndham, in Windsor, CO.
Sat. June 20th, 2026 ... Guaranteed !!, so plan your trip now!
Just remember the date as being Saturday of Summer Solstice weekend. The party will be all afternoon and evening, come and hang with your friends, everyone is welcome!
I am monitoring the attendees by using eVite. As of Feb. 1st, I have now gone through the most recent spreadsheet of emails and have had eVite send out an invitation to everyone. (Apologies to those few that will receive this a second time!)

Please respond to the eVite so others can see the level of interest. If you are sure now, please respond YES (or NO). However please respond with something right away. If you are interested and want to come but just not sure, please don't wait but just reply MAYBE right away. Then later when you have decided, you can then change it to YES (or NO).
I'd rather see a MAYBE right now, then no reply at all. This will generate some interest I hope, you can talk to friends and make plans. Some people have talked about taking a train to Denver by the way.
